Jessica Chethik, All for All Consulting, Principal

Prior to forming All for All Consulting, Jessica was the Director of Elementary and Middle School Programs for Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago (CRFC). There she worked with teachers, administrators and community resource persons to bring civic education programs to over 150 Chicago Public Schools (CPS). One of these initiatives, the Edward J. Lewis II Lawyers in the Classroom Program, annually brought over 500 attorneys and law students into hundreds of Chicago classrooms for meaningful learning, collaboration and discussion of issues relevant to students’ lives. Prior to working at CRFC, Jessica was a middle school teacher for CPS where she taught language arts and social studies, led afterschool female discussion groups, and coached her school’s girls’ basketball team. Jessica has also worked as a pregnancy counselor, writer and waitress. Jessica is a member of the board of directors for Literature for All of Us, a non-profit that uses books and writing to facilitate circles of connection, healing and growth in the face of social inequity.

Jessica’s work in these capacities has shown her how important it is for everyone of every age to feel connected to others and a part of a community. Whether it’s a small group of friends, a classroom or a city and whether connected by a shared passion, coincidence or geography, when people come together to share, listen and learn, every part of their lives becomes richer, more nuanced, more filled with compassion and more interesting.
